White Collar Criminal Practice
Professor Brandon Garrett will moderate a panel of four attorneys with deep experience in the prosecution and defense of white collar crimes. Ryan Faulconer '08 is a prosecutor in the Financial Crimes and Public Corruption Unit of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia. Marc-Philip Ferzan served for more than eight years as a federal prosecutor in New Jersey, then as a senior attorney for the New Jersey Governor's Office. Kristen Clarens '05 defended corporate clients at the DC office of Paul Hastings before working on FCPA litigation in Charlottesville. Professor Stephen Braga was a white collar criminal defense attorney for over thirty years, with an international practice based in DC.
