White-Collar Criminal Practice
Professor Brandon Garrett will moderate a panel of four attorneys with deep experience in the prosecution and defense of white-collar crimes. Ryan Faulconer '08 is a prosecutor in the Financial Crimes and Public Corruption Unit of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia. Marc-Philip Ferzan served for more than eight years as a federal prosecutor in New Jersey, then as a senior attorney for the New Jersey Governor's Office. Kristin Cleary '05 works with corporate clients at the office of Paul Hastings, investigating corruption issues, defending corporate clients, and developing compliance programs. Professor Stephen Braga was a white-collar criminal defense attorney for more than 30 years, with an international practice based in D.C. Lunch will be provided with RSVP in Symplicity.

HIV/AIDS Law and Policy – a Talk with Dan Bruner
Dan Bruner, director of legal services at Whitman-Walker Health, will speak about HIV/AIDS law and policy. Whitman-Walker Health is a community-based nonprofit health clinic in Washington, D.C., with a mission to help people living with HIV and in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities. Bruner’s practice has concentrated on discrimination in employment and health care, on insurance and employee benefits, and on privacy issues. Lunch will be provided.
